Snakes have always been one of my favorite animals to shoot. Most species tend to lay motionless when you come near, although I highly suggest you have a long lens to avoid getting too close if you know what I mean. I take photographs of both captive and snakes in the wild. I know they seem a little creepy, but they really do help control other pest populations from getting out of control.
