Although their eyesight is poor, this critically endangered Black Rhino watches my every move very intently on the vast open plains of Africa. Their population is somewhat improving over the last few decades, but with loss of habitat, poaching, and civil unrest always a threat, their future is precarious at best.
The Black Rhino has an infamous and deadly demeanor making him one of Africa's most dangerous large mammals.
