As the winter season starts to settle in for the next several weeks , let us not forget about all of those backyard inhabitants who call the great outdoors their home. It does not snow much here in Texas, well at least not in my region that is, but when it does, I typically grab my camera and head out to some of my favorite stomping grounds to see the "Winter Wonderland" emerge for myself.
For some creatures such as the small mouse below, winter seems cruel and unbearable. For others, it seems to bring on a welcome change from the prior season (s) of unbearably hot temperatures.
