Imagine seeing critters our size that looked like this (Yikes) Scary thought huh? I guess we should be thankful that most insects like this emerald eyed Robber Fly prey on other unsuspecting insects, and not us humans. The Robberfly is a top predator in his class, and takes great pride in being able to snag a flying passerby like a Bee or Wasp in mid-air, bring it to an abrupt stop, and stab it with its formidable mouth piece, and well........you know the rest of the story:)
