I took this picture several years ago with my first digital camera (
D100 camera), however I never liked the quality of the shot (too
grainy), although I loved the captured expression. Thanks to
technology, I have started to go back and edit some of these older shots
to make them more to my satisfaction.
This particular shot depicts a Orangutan consoling another as he looks upon the endless number of humans gathering above. It is unfortunate that Zoological parks such as this, may be the last remaining refuge for this great primate to prevent their extinction.
